Backup Systems
A proper backup is an integral part of any computer network. We provide multiple levels of backups to protect your systems from the problems associated with data loss.Battery Backup
A battery backup will protect your computer from a power failure. When the power goes off, it will provide enough reserve power for the user to save anything that they were working on and properly shut down the computer. Nearly all battery backups also contain a built in surge protector to serve as a buffer between your machine and any damaging power spikes.
External Hard Drive Backup
An External Hard drive will allow for further safety. A Hard Drive Backup will run each night and make a physical backup of the information on you drive(s). Tapes should be switched out on a weekly basis and stored in a fire proof box when not in the drive. Any data loss caused by software problems or viruses can be recovered with a copy no more than 24 hours old. In the event of a disaster such as a flood or fire, no more than one weeks worth of information will be lost.
